Contemporary Wedding Songs
Because we have spoken until now about many of the details of a wedding planning, I have thought that it came the time to speak about the music. Just like any other aspect of a wedding, the music is also important because it represents the entertainment. You dance, you chill at the table while exchanging some thought with the friends and family, of course on the music and so on. Music represents the expression of the souls so it should receive a big importance.
Going back to the wedding music, because nowadays the majority of the music on the market is music for dancing, in one word commercial music, it may seem a little bit difficult to choose the playlist for the wedding. Not mentioning that you have to please everybody, from the youngest to the oldest. And, as they say, as many people in the room, as many tastes, you will have to be aware of this saying and try to ring a variety of songs that will be liked for everybody. You won’t like it to see some of them on the chairs all the nigh, wouldn’t you?
So, because I have thought to give you some ideas that were already thought and organized by some experts, I have found this site that gives you ideas of playlists with contemporary music. If you do not know some of the songs on the list by heart, you can even listen to them. Maybe you know them, but the title is not so known. You will find songs like Imagine, from John Lennon, What a wonderful world, from Robert Thiele and George David Weiss, and many others. Of course that you can just get inspired by these songs. You don’t have to take them all or in the exact order. You can also bring in your playlist young artists like Rihanna, Lady Gaga, or big names of the pop industry as Madonna, Michael Jackson. If you want to have Latino music, you can add songs from Rafaga who will surely make you jump of your seats and the list can definitely continue.
In order to set the best playlist you will also have to take care about the order in which the songs will start, because you won’t want to have a Rafaga song when everybody are eating, or a chill song when everyone is willing to dance. You will have to remember that the timing is everything and take care of this aspect also, just like of all the others. Difficult tasks I know, but let’s just say that the wedding planning is part of the first couple responsibilities.
Best Wedding Songs
A wedding would be nothing without many things, but one aspect that is extremely important would be the music. The ceremony will be touching and incredibly short, while the reception will make the most of your wedding.
Therefore, it is important for the new couple to feel confident and relaxed, amused and willing to party, to celebrate and to express their joy at the beginning of a new life together. Depending on how you choose the music, all of the above will be possible or not.

The first dance
The first dance of the newly married ones has a significant importance. It should be one to represent the both of them, not too fast and nor to slow, not necessarily trendy at the moment. You might want to practice the dance before the event, so you will have no problems on the dance floor, while everyone is watching you. A love song will be preferable, but the new trend is for a combination of two different songs that will be consecutively played, with an obvious rhythm change.
I don’t want to miss a thing, from Aerosmith, The power of love – Celine Dion, I can’t help falling in love with you – Elvis Presley, Every breath you take – The Police or In Your Eyes – Peter Gabriel are some famous songs, even classics, on a slow tempo, that might be great for your first dance. Crazy in love – Beyonce, Only U – Ashanti, A thousand miles – Vanessa Carlton or The reason – Hoobastank are some bold choices that you might want to try.

The song list
This one would be for all the guests, starting the joy and happiness. Either it is for background during the meal or for everyone to unleash until late in the morning, this music should be various and for different tastes and generations. While older persons might not enjoy the latest songs from the industry, youngsters know how to appreciate old songs as well. Close to you – The Carpenters, Even the nights – Air Supply, Open Arms – Journey, Babe I love you – Styx, More than words – Extreme, How deep is your love – Bee Gees, Just the way you are – Billy Joel, Wonderful tonight – Eric Clapton, Stand by me – Ben E. King, Sexual Healing – Marvin Gaye, Because you loved me – Celine Dion or Unforgettable – Nat King Cole are gorgeous songs. You could check some websites to get new ideas.
